Throughout the year, we schedule programs and events dedicated to supporting your job search. And, we are happy to meet with you one-on-one for career assessment, help with job search materials, and assistance with any other questions or concerns you may have about your job search.

Resources for Alumni & Postdocs

Career Services

CUNY postdocs and Graduate Center alumni who are within five years of obtaining their degree are welcome to use the office for individual career advisement. Additionally, we welcome you to attend our programs and eventsjoin our email lists, and access our job listings database. All postdocs and alumni on the job market are encouraged to review our Career Planning Guide, which provides answers to some of the most common questions asked in our office.

Alumni Connecting with Current Students

We welcome the participation of alumni who are interested in working with current doctoral and master’s students. Throughout the academic year, we offer a range of events, such as career panels and mentoring round tables. Alumni—whether they are working as faculty members or in other roles and industries—are usually speakers at these events, as their professional expertise is invaluable to students.
