Career Choices for STEM PhDs

In this workshop, Melanie Sinche will discuss the skills that PhDs organically develop during the course of their graduate and postdoctoral training as well as how to translate them to employers in various fields. Sinche will draw on the results from a large survey she recently conducted to identify which sectors PhDs in STEM fields are currently employed to show the wide variety of career choices available to STEM PhD and postdoctoral students. Through this workshop, Sinche will guide you through the process of developing and implementing an effective career plan customized to a job or field of interest to you. Come join us for a lively, useful workshop from a leading authority in STEM career development.
