Join us for an online workshop for humanities graduate students with Derek Attig, Assistant Dean for Career & Professional Development, Graduate College, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Understanding your skills is a crucial part of exploring careers and figuring out your next steps. But what do we actually mean when we talk about “skills”? This workshop will introduce a critical, contextual, and creative approach to skills that draws on your graduate training and experiences in the humanities. You will leave with a personalized strategy for understanding what you’re good at—not just a generic list of skills. You will also have a chance to imagine how you can use your skills to make a positive impact on the world.
