  • Brooklyn College has a student enrollment of 17,803 students who come from 138 nations and speak 90 languages. The college offers 173 undergraduate degree, graduate degree, certificate, and advanced certificate and diploma programs in business; education; the humanities and social sciences; natural and behavioral sciences; and visual, media, and performing arts.
  • Bureau Of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (D.C.) ATF is a law enforcement agency in the United States Department of Justice that protects our communities from violent criminals, criminal organizations, the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, the illegal use and storage of explosives, acts of arson and bombings, acts of terrorism, and the illegal diversion of alcohol and tobacco products.
  • Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is a private, not-for-profit research and education institution at the forefront of molecular biology and genetics.
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation is an intelligence-driven and threat-focused national security organization with both intelligence and law enforcement responsibilities that is staffed by a dedicated cadre of more than 30,000 agents, analysts, and other professionals who work around the clock and across the globe to protect the U.S. from terrorism, espionage, cyber attacks, and major criminal threats, and to provide its many partners with service, support, training, and leadership.
  • The LifeSci NYC Internship Program is a dynamic NYC initiative to build a rich pipeline of diverse talent to fill the needs of the fast-growing life-sciences industry. Since its founding in 2017, the program has placed over 940 students into internships and entry level jobs at 200+ top life sciences employers throughout the city. The program places college and graduate students, as well as recent grads, into a wide range of roles encompassing science, business, tech, and more.
  • New York City Campaign Finance Board is a nonpartisan, independent city agency that enhances the role of New York City residents in elections. The CFB’s mission is to increase voter participation and awareness, provide campaign finance information to the public, enable more citizens to run for office, strengthen the role of small contributors, and reduce the potential for actual or perceived corruption.
  • New York State Department of Civil Service helps employees build skills and create opportunities for workplace success. The agency also has the responsibility for recruiting a new generation of workers who will lead New York State for decades to come. The Department of Civil Service encourages jobseekers from diverse backgrounds to consider joining the New York State workforce.
  • New York State Department of Financial Services supervises and regulates the activities of more than 3,000 financial institutions with assets totaling more than $9.7 trillion as of Dec. 31, 2023. These types of institutions include:1,173 property/casualty insurance companies, 128 life insurance companies, 92 health insurers and managed care organizations, 64 pharmacy benefits managers, 66 state-chartered banks, 71 foreign branches, 10 foreign agencies, 22 virtual currency companies, and 12 credit unions. DFS also registers, approves, permits, authorizes and de-authorizes certain other entities.
