Planning to go on the academic job market? Then don’t miss this panel. Faculty members from a range of fields will speak about their experiences as search committee members, both within the CUNY system and at other institutions. They’ll discuss how they read your application materials, what they look for in candidates, and what they expect from candidates in the interview process. Our panelists will be:

  • Ruth Milkman, Distinguished Professor of Sociology at the Graduate Center
  • Anne Stone, Associate Professor of Music at the Graduate Center
  • Katherine Verdery, Distinguished Professor of Anthropology at the Graduate Center
