About this Workshop

Congratulations! You’ve done all the hard work to find job openings, you’ve prepared and sent in all your application materials, and it’s paid off: you’ve been invited for an academic job interview! Unfortunately, all this hard work could go for naught if you’re not prepared for the interview.

The best way to prepare for an academic interview is by practicing, and in this workshop, you will improve your interviewing skills by practicing the most-asked academic interview questions. You will also learn how to handle some unusual or unexpected questions. We will also delve into some body language and eye contact techniques that will help you ace the academic interview.
