The goal of this program is to give graduate students interested in the finance industry a basic sense of Wall Street, the kind of institutions that constitute the financial sector, what the role of each of these institutions is, how they differ from each other, and the different jobs that exist in each of these institutions. Understanding the basics of what is Wall Street will give you a much better sense of:

  • Is this a place where I want to work?
  • Where might I fit in in Wall Street?
  • How can I improve my chances of getting hired for a job I want?

Our speaker will be Phil Philips, who has spent 25 years on Wall Street in firms such as JP Morgan, AllianceBernstein, and Merrill Lynch.
