At this panel, you’ll hear from alums who have gotten jobs in data science. Businesses and governments alike need people who know what to do with the large amounts of data they collect. Our speakers will be:

  • Mark Kanner, Senior Data Scientist, Aetna and GC PhD in physics
  • Deb Kim, Senior Data Strategist at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY and GC PhD in political science
  • Andi Shehu, CEO ByteFlow Dynamics and GC PhD in physics
  • Peter Terlecky, Data Scientist, AIG, and GC PhD in math

The speakers will discuss how they built careers in data science, which skills from graduate work best translate to this field, how hiring is done, and where to look for opportunities.
