The campus visit is probably the most important part of the screening process for obtaining an academic position. It is certainly as important as your CV, academic track record or job talk because it is your opportunity to demonstrate how you differ from other candidates and what contributions you will make as a member of the department and faculty. But how is it different from a conventional job interview and how does that difference affect preparation? How are visits formatted? What questions should you expect? What is the appropriate preparation and what are some of the pitfalls associated with the campus visit? This webinar will help you prepare and succeed in this part of the interview process.
