About the Event

A representative from RealFriend will be on campus to talk with Graduate Center students about tech startups and exciting opportunities with their company. The event will include:

  • An introduction to New York City tech startup space and opportunities
  • An introduction to RealFriend and its current projects
  • An overview of the internship opportunities available at RealFriend (see below) and information about applying for these positions
  • A Q&A session

Open Part-Time Positions at RealFriend

Product Analyst/Customer Success Coordinator

Compensation: $17/hour

Schedule: 10-15 hours/week, weekday evenings (6 PM – 12 AM), weekends (7 AM – 12 AM), training will be during 9-5 in-office, evening and weekend hours can be remote. Hours submitted by individual availability with opportunity for more hours/growth.

Skill set: Computer-savvy, have strong written communication skills with high English proficiency, a warm rapport, are comfortable with navigating ambiguity, will provide thoughtful feedback to aid in the development of our products and internal processes, and real estate/startup/NYC resident experience is a plus but not required.

Full-stack Developer Intern

Compensation: $17/hour

Schedule: 10-15 hours/week, with training and shifts during 9-5 in-office. Hours submitted by individual availability with opportunity for more hours/growth.

Skill set: Assist building back-end services and UIs with modern tools like GraphQL, NextJS, ES6, React, Typescript, and Webpack; experience with NodeJS backend and frontend development; an out-of-the-box thinker and a fast learner.
