Both are critical elements in the academic interview process. But what is a job talk? How should you structure your job talk and what objectives should you seek to accomplish through the talk? What questions should you ask before the talk and what should you seek to know about your audience? What should you expect from a teaching demo? What format might it take? And, most fundamentally, how should you prepare for both of these? These questions and more will be addressed during this webinar examining two critical moments in your academic job search.
