Careers at the U.S. Department of State

Date(s) - Tuesday, October 8, 2013
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

CUNY Graduate Center, room 9205/4

This program has been postponed due to the federal government shutdown.  We will work with Ms. Guy to reschedule for a later date.

U.S. foreign policy can be complicated (to say the least)… and you may not always agree with it.  Nonetheless, careers in the Department of State can be phenomenal opportunities.  Join us for a conversation with Patricia H.H. Guy, Diplomat in Residence at City College.  In her last post, she was the Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, Romania where she led a section that included a Cultural Affairs Officer, an Information Officer and 17 locally employed staffers.  You can read more about Pat here (just click on NY state).    We’ll be in room 9205/4 for this session.  (This program is open to all who wish to attend.  However, careers at the U.S. Department of State are limited to U.S. citizens.)
