Allison de Cerreno has a PhD in Political Science from the CUNY Graduate Center. She now works as Assistant Director for Policy and Business Programs in the Tunnels, Bridges, and Terminals Department at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Allison’s job focuses on tolling operations, revenue forecasting, facility planning and traffic analysis, as well as toll and transportation policy. In this episode of Alumni Aloud, Allison offers advice to students considering careers outside academia, and shares how the skills she developed as a PhD student have helped her in her career.
