Please join us for a Q&A with staff from the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) to learn more about the ACLS Public Fellows program. The program places recent humanities PhDs in two-year positions at partnering nonprofit organizations and government agencies, where the fellows participate in the core work of these organizations and benefit from professional mentoring and career development opportunities.

The complete list of this year’s partner organizations–plus position descriptions and application info–is up on the ACLS website.

Applicants must possess US citizenship or permanent resident status and have a PhD in the humanities or humanistic social sciences conferred between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2015 (dissertations must be defended and filed/deposited no later than March 17, 2015). The deadline to apply for this year’s competition is March 17, 2015, 6 PM EDT.
